Zaraz po wojnie zapisała się na studia, bo tutaj, w Polsce zdawała małą maturę. Francuskiego nauczyła się od mojej mamy, Na studiach w Belgii już, wyszła za mąż za cenionego Polaka, profesora Pankowskiego, który także był jeńcem oświęcimskim. Skończyła studia jako inżynier, później zrobiła doktorat, wreszcie dostała profesurę na uniwersytecie w Brukseli. Profesurę z fizyki atomistycznej. Był to 49, 50 rok jak została profesorem. Miała córeczkę, która dziś ma 55 lat. Ziuta zmarła mając 49 lat. Pani Filipowska odeszła od nas rok przed powstaniem warszawskim, w którym nie brała udziału, dostała się do obozu niemieckiego. Wojnę przeżyła, dopiero po roku wróciła do kraju i dopiero wtedy zobaczyła swojego synka Piotrusia. Pani Irena utrzymywała z nami bardzo dobry kontakt, jednakże nasza korespondencje i spotkania przerwała jej nieubłagana śmierć.
ZIUTA’S LIFE AFTER WAR.
Just after war she has started studing in Brussel. During the stay in our home my mother has teached her french. She married professor Pankowski. Then she finished her studies and became professor in atomic physics. She had a daughter which now is 55 years old. Madame Filipowska left us year before the Warsaw Uprising. She was taken to the concentration camp. She has survived war and after a year she came to Poland and saw her son Piotruś. She had a good contact with us, we wrote to each other adn meet, but her death ended it all.

Tout de suite après la guerre, elle s’est inscit à l’université. C’est ma mère qui lui fait apprendre le francais. Après l’ étude, alle s’était marié avec un Polonais respecté, le proffesseur Pankowski, qui, lui aussi était prisonnier d’Oswiecim. Elle a fini ses études comme ingénieur, puis elle a fait le doctorat et finallement le professorat à l’université de Bruxelles. Elle a fait le proffessorat en physique atomique, c’était l’année 1950 si je me souviens bien. Elle avait une fille, qui, maintenant a 55 ans. Ziuta est morte ayant 49 ans. Irena Felgin Filipowska nous a quitté une année avant la Resurrection de Varsovie. Elle ne s’est malheureusement pas echappé d’un camp de travail, mais elle a survecu la guerre. Un an après la guerre elle est retournée en Pologne, elle rencontra là- bas son fils Piotrek. Madame Irena après la guerre correspondait vivement avec nous, mais c’est sa mort qui arreta les lettres venant d’elle.
